The RU:RBAN project is an innovative URBACT network that builds upon the successful management model of urban gardens in Rome, aimed at transferring knowledge and practices to cities across Europe. This initiative focuses on enhancing local governance capacities by addressing key components such as capacity building for organizing urban gardens, inspiring and training individuals to manage these spaces, and establishing effective governance and regulations. With the goal of helping the community in Thessaloniki learn about best practices in urban gardening, a series of promotional materials have been developed to facilitate engagement and awareness.

Among these materials is a comprehensive urban cultivation guide, spanning 36 pages and featuring simple, custom imagery that visually illustrates the stages of cultivation. This guide serves as a vital resource for both novice and experienced gardeners, providing clear instructions and insights into successful urban gardening practices. Complementing the guide are conference agendas that outline event schedules, engaging posters and dynamic social media posts designed to reach a broader audience.

Each promotional piece has been thoughtfully crafted to reflect the project's ethos of collaboration and community empowerment. The modern design incorporates vibrant imagery related to urban gardening, capturing the essence of growth and sustainability. By utilizing these materials, the RU:RBAN project not only educates participants about effective urban gardening techniques but also fosters a sense of community involvement and shared responsibility for enhancing local green spaces.
